The WPWMA Board of Directors adopted a new Site Wide Odor Plan on December 10, 2020 intended to consistently and proactively reduce the potential for facility odors to be experienced off site.

Beginning 1/1/2021, landfills can no longer bury treated wood waste. The WPWMA will accept this material for $741 per ton. Railroad ties and utility poles will no longer be accepted. See DTSC’s Fact Sheet for more info.
